Children Studying in Australia on a Visitor Visa

Children of Visitors to Australia can Study in Australian Schools

The rules for the children attending school in Australia while on a Tourist Visa may be different for the different States in Australia, as each State has its own Education Department.

QLD: The minimum period of enrolment is 2 weeks. Students on tourist visas cannot study for more than 13 weeks unless permitted by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
2018 QLD Tuition Fees are between $309 and $422 per week.

Visitor Visa subclass 600

Tourist Visa for Australia: Visitor Visa (subclass 600 visa)

The Visitor visa (subclass 600) is visa lets you visit Australia for for up to three, six or 12 months, as a visitor, for business visitor activities, to visit family or on a tour with a registered travel agent from the People’s Republic of China.
