When I lived in Sydney I always drank water straight from the tap, but when we moved up to SE QLD we kept tap water in the fridge for a few hours, which brought it to a better temp, but that is the only reason. I think chilled water tastes better than medium warm.
We had the fluoride added not that long back, but I don’t think I really noticed the change. I did notice the difference in water when I first moved to Sydney from the UK, as my area in the UK didn’t have fluoridated water.
Maybe I adapted due to being used to it in Sydney.
