GDP Per Capita

Changes in GDP Per Capita for Selected Countries 2010 to 2014

The following figures show the PPP GDP figures for Four selected Countries; Australia and the United Kingdom, together with Canada and the United States for comparison.

Purchasing Power Parity [PPP] has been used for this comparison rather than the Nominal GDP figures.

The PPP method eliminates the effects of differences and changes in relative price levels, particularly non-tradables, and therefore provides a better overall measure of the real value of output produced by an economy compared to other economies. http://data.worldbank.org/data-catalog/GDP-PPP-based-table
