Savings in Australia as share of Household Income

A chart from the Reserve bank of Australia shows how Australians have increased the amount of Household Disposable Income they now save, compared to previous years.

The chart, from the Reserve Bank, shows how the ratio of Savings to Household Disposable Income has risen past the zero level that it dropped to in the 1998 to 2005 period, and is now hovering around the 10% level for the last 5 years.

However, 2014 and 2015 are showing a drop to nearer 8%.
