      Bringing your Pets to Australia

The first things to consider, when thinking of bringing your pets to Australia are the cost and the quarantine aspects.
Details of these, and more, are covered in our page at:

      Animals in Australia

The Kangaroo and Koala are the most commonly thought about Australian animals, but then sometimes thoughts move to the snakes and spiders.
You begin to think, How dangerous are they ?

Answers to this, and other questions, will be shown at the pages listed above for each type of creature found in Australia.

      Insect Control options

Flies and Mosquitoes can be a pain in SOME parts of Australia, but not everywhere.

Cockroaches are common in many areas, but they do not need to be much of a problem.

Many houses have an annual pest control spray done inside the house, which can aid in keeping these pests away.

Electronic Devices area also available to assist in keeping some pests, such as spiders, out of the house. Some work well, some don't.

An example of an Ultrasonic Rodent and Insect Repeller is shown here, but this unit has not been tested by us.
