Sport is very popular in Australia, with schools putting a lot of emphasis on time spent on sport, both in and out of school times.

Archery

Some States may require Licences for the use of a Bow when hunting wild animals. eg: www.gamecouncil.nsw.gov.au

Customs Regulations currently allow general archery equipment such as bows and arrows, except for crossbows. source: Importing firearms and weapons

Football (Soccer) The round ball version that is played with the feet, called Soccer.
Rugby Union: A 15-a-side non professional rugby.
Rugby League. A 13-a-side professional rugby.
Australian Rules Football. An 18-a-side version of Rugby.
