Capital City of the Australian Capital Territory
Canberra, is the Capital City of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), and
of Australia
itself. The ACT is a small Territory surrounded entirely by New South Wales. It is about 150
kilometres inland and 300 km southwest of Sydney and 650 km northeast of
Melbourne by road.
Canberra is 571 metres above Sea Level.
