During January to  March 2008, a total of 82,825 Western Australians travelled overseas for a
holiday, 27.0% more compared to the same quarter of 2007.

The median weekly income in WA was $753 per week. Recent arrivals from North-West Europe had higher median incomes of $903 per week.
