The Australian Reserve Bank today announced a 0.25% CUT in Official Interest rates.
Westpac will cut its standard variable rate by 0.25% to 9.36% from September 4.
RAMS Home Loans will cut its standard variable rate by by 0.25% to 9.29% from September 4.
Aussie Home Loans will cut its standard variable rate by 0.25% to 9.30% from 9.55% from September 5.
Commonwealth Bank will cut its standard variable rate by 0.25% to 9.33% from 9.58%, from September 8.
ANZ Bank will cut its standard variable rate by 0.25% to 9.37% from September 8.

Wizard Homes to cut Variable Mortgage Interest rate from 9.54 to 9.29 per cent effective from this morning. http://www.wizard.com.au
However, in my own experience, variable rates can still be obtained at 9.07% at the big banks.

- National Australia Bank increased it's Standard Variable Mortgage rate from 9.46% to 9.61%, to be effective from July 15 2008.
- The Official bank rate is currently 7.25%
