A computer keyboard without a £ sign can be a problem for some people who need to type with the £ sign.

There is a relatively easy way to get around this shortfall with non UK keyboards.

ALT 156 or ALT 0163

Holding the ALT key down, type the numbers 156 OR 0163 on the number pad and you get the…. £ sign

This only works with the number pad, it does NOT work with the numbers at the top of the keyboard.
