                                      		 I had to pay a couple of items the other day, both for US$10, at the same place with 3 minutes of each other, and I decided to use a different credit card for each.

                                      ANZ
                                      Visa charged me $14.37 + $0.43 conversion fee = $14.70

                                      St George
                                      Mastercard charged me $14.29 + $0.36 conversion fee = $14.65

                                      I did the transactions on 28th April 2009 at 11:38am and 11:41am

                                      Dates I was charged, per the card Statements (online data):
                                      27th April : ANZ - Visa
                                      30th April : St George - Mastercard

                                      Visa are remarkably efficient.... I am glad I don't pay any interest on the credit cards. !!!

                                      They charged me the day before I did the transaction !!!!

                                      		 ANZ appear to use the local date in the country of the transaction, as the transaction date entered on the Statement.

                                      Although it was the 28th in Australia, when I made the transaction, it was still the 27th in the USA.
