My thinking is that the Medium size was quite large.
Today was the second time our family had fish and chips from the British chippy. The first time the food was dreadful and we felt certain we had caught them on a bad night. So we tried them again tonight.
To say the food was inedible would be an understatement. The fish is by far the driest fish we’ve ever tasted (we gave it to the dog). The chips were pale and tiny, cool not hot at all. They went to waste also. We had potato scallops which we’re mostly batter with a fine slither of potato inside, horrible.
I’m not sure if the fabulous reviews are written by real customers as this fish and chip shop is disgusting. Don’t go there. Total waste of money.
I haven’t been there since July last year, (I am not local to the area) but they were really good, and I was talking to others while waiting, and most were regulars. Really happy with the food. I went with a relative who lives locally, and who recommended them.
