457 Temporary Business Long Stay Visa, Income Threshold
For a nomination to be approved, the base salary must be at least equal to the TSMIT (Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold).
The Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT), is currently set at $53,900 per annum. (no Change for the 2016/17 year)
The Review of the Temporary Skilled Migration Threshold (1MB PDF) report was released on 24 February 2017.
5.2 That the current Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold be retained at $53,900 p.a. but that it not undergo any further increases until it is reviewed within two years.
