Cost of Living Index 2017

The following figures are extracted from the 2017 Mid Year Cost of Living Index at Numbeo 2017 Mid Year.

The extracted figures include the most and the least expensive Cities from the 511 Cities in the World that are compared, together with each of the Australian and UK cities listed.

Australia certainly takes the majority of the high cost ranks for the General Cost of living and the Groceries cost of living, but the Rent and Restaurant costs appear much closer to each other.
